Laurel and Zumba

Laurel has been teaching Zumba since 2009 and is qualified to teach Basic 1 and 2 which include speciality rhythms such as Belly dance, Flamenco, Tango and Samba. She also teaches Zumba Gold and Zumba Gold/Toning which take the Latin and international rhythms created in the original Zumba to the active older adult, beginners and others that may require a modified programme to be able to enjoy Zumba.

Zumba Toning teaches how to blend body sculpting techniques and specific Zumba moves in one calorie burning and strength training class. Instructors use maraca-like Zumba toning sticks to enhance rhythm and build strength.

More recently Laurel qualified as a Zumbatomic instructor which will enable her to teach children aged between 4-7 and ages 8-12.

Zumbatomics is designed to develop a healthy lifestyle and to incorporate fitness as a natural part of a childs life.
